Robex Contracting was invited to provide a solution to plastisol cladding that had become badly worn and exposed to the elements.

Work undertaken

Robex Contracting decided to use a product made by Akzo Nobel – the steel seal product was a three-part system, compromising of a primer and two top coats, all of which were applied by airless spray. The works were carried out over a six-week period with Robex Contracting providing the scaffolding, traffic control, and management of the site etc.

Outcome

The work was inspected by Akzo Nobel on a regular basis and a ten year guarantee was issued at the end of the contract.
