Robex Contracting was approached to see if they could come up with a solution to an external slippery tarmac surface. Robex decided to use their Gripmaster system, due to its excellent wearing properties and its speed of cure.

The surface was shot blasted to remove the previous coating. Robex GP Primer was then applied by roller. Robex GP Resin was then applied by squeegee and roller. A coarse non-slip aggregate was broadcast to completely cover the surface. Once cured, all excess aggregate was removed and two coats of Robex GP Sealer were applied.

Outcome

A new hard-wearing non-slip surface was installed and ready for the start of the new ‘season’.
